Lupine Festival
June 5 - 21
The annual Fields of Lupine Festival is a celebration of
the arrival of Spring. The communities of Franconia,
Easton, Sugar Hill, Bethlehem, Littleton and Lisbon showcase
this colorful pageant. Lupines carpets local fields
and pastures in a rolling sea of purples, pinks, blues
and whites. The blossoms attract dazzling
butterflies and create
a breathtaking floral display against the backdrop of
the mountain ranges. Tour
guide books are available
with daily events throughout the month, weekend specials and
includes hospitality and shopping coupons for use throughout
the festival.
Filled with entertainment
and other activities as well as an award winning photo contest

Notch Triathalon August 1st
The TNT begins in
the village of Franconia, with a mountain bike ride along a
paved path, a
swim across Echo Lake,
and a sprint uphill
to the Cannon Tramway finish line. Billed as not exactly "a walk
in the Park",
a popular and very competitive annual event for triathlon aficionados. |
